Next Step Living is a structured, supervised transitional living environment for young females, ages 15 to 21, who have successfully completed a residential program dealing with self-destructive and addictive behaviors. NSL's innovative “transitional living community” empowers and supports participation in healthy, responsible and productive lifestyles. NSL is spiritually based on the 12 Step model utilizing a therapeutic approach which embraces the decision-making process these young females encounter learning to live and thrive free of addictive behavior.

NSL residents are involved in volunteer, school and work-related activities, attend public school or college, participate in 12 Step meetings, and worship at the church of their choice in the local area. In addition, organizations and leaders in the surrounding communities unite to provide many of the social and life-skills programs specific in meeting the challenges of young females today. NSL is a totally nicotine free environment, requires a minimum six month commitment, and is private pay only. Each resident receives offsite individual, family and group therapy to enhance positive self-esteem and learn to establish and maintain healthy relationships. NSL applicants will be evaluated individually based on recommendation by the referring primary care facility.
