- Visions philosophy is that the effective treatment of adolescents with substance abuse and behavioral disorders involves a holistic approach that includes attention to the adolescent's emotional growth and development of physical health, psychological health, family relations, social supports, and cultural factors. Every person who enters our facility is an individual with varied needs and problems. We avoid "pigeon-holing" anyone. We see each resident as a whole being, thus all aspects of recovery are addressed including psychological, environmental and physical. While the primary focus is on the need to maintain sobriety, other issues such as eating disorders, cross-addictions, low self-esteem, anger management, and family dysfunction will be assessed and addressed for the greatest success of our residents.

- Sundown Ranch is a treatment facility, whose primary purpose is to provide quality chemical dependency services to adolescents and young adults. The ranch, 450 acres of rolling hills, lakes and trees, provides a highly structured and individualized program, in an environment where young people can learn to live free of drugs and alcohol. In combating chemical dependency, residents develop a sense of personal identity, and strengthen their self-esteem and self-confidence. The open peaceful environment--a contrast to the institutional, hospital-like atmosphere of many rehabilitation facilities is part of the treatment and therapy.
