Donna C Glendening, founder and executive director of Next Step Living, began 18 years ago, as a volunteer and new in recovery taking 12 Step meeting to treatment centers. Donna was born and educated in Oklahoma achieving a Bachelor's in Family Studies and a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University.
She is licensed in Texas and Oklahoma as an alcohol and drug counselor and is a Certified Traumatologist with extended experimental learning. Donna has served for many years in the treatment field of outpatient and residential programs. During discharge planning, she realized the need for extended care for young females and her original dream in 1999 has become her passion. The dream now lives with the opening of this "transitional living community." |
